Darlas is a fine artist based in Broadstone, having relocated to Dorset three years ago.
A self-taught creator, she has been painting since early childhood.
Darlas specialises in watercolours and oils, while also providing classes in various mediums at her home studio.
Her inspiration is drawn directly from observation and the way light interacts with a subject. She paints in a representational, contemporary style using established traditional techniques, with a focus on figurative and portrait subjects.
Darlas is especially captivated by the human experience and how we project ourselves within our world.
Darlas offers one-to-one and group art experiences for adults in her home studio as well as bespoke wedding portraits, commissions and workshops.
